In addition to being extremely potent in the smell, terpenes also determine the effects of marijuana strains. Each of the 100 known terpenes has a different effect. Some of these include relaxation, sleepiness, energy, hunger and so many more. Any way that you have felt while high can be attributed and traced down to one specific terpene or a combination of them.
